Heidi Henderson has over 25 years in the medical field performing billing, credentialing, and practice management responsibilities. 1st Assistant began in 2008 as a consulting business for a variety of specialties and quickly encompassed credentialing for her clients, giving her the opportunity to work with many different physicians in all areas of medicine. Because of her in depth knowledge of a medical practice, it was natural to start a business to assist physicians and administrators in managing day to day activities. Heidi understands the practice’s need to find an honest credentialing company in order to keep their practice up and running so 1st Assistant is committed to providing excellence, honesty and fair pricing. Current member of MGMA, NAMSS and Texas MGMA.


Terri Lynn Davis    

Credentialing Director | 1st Assistant

Terri Lynn Davis is a credentialing expert in payor enrollment and primary source verification services. Currently the Credentialing Director for 1st Assistant, she provides nationwide services for a variety of healthcare providers, suppliers and facilities in numerous specialties. With over 15 years of experience in credentialing, Terri Lynn knows how to take the complex and difficult task of credentialing and make it a smooth and seamless process for 1st Assistant clients. She is never satisfied with the status quo, but instead reaches for higher levels of excellence by simplifying processes, improving standards and providing educational opportunities whenever possible. Customer service is Terri Lynn’s top priority and her proactive expertise resonates with her clients. Terri also shares her knowledge and experience through a variety of webinars and conference presentations. Participants in her classes benefit from her practical credentialing tips that help drive improved payor enrollment outcomes. Terri Lynn holds a BS in Health Care Administration with a minor in Business Management from Western Kentucky University.
